MIP IDEA workshop: Monday 23 August

MIP workshop on Wednesday, 18 August

Please meet in the studio at 10:00. The workshop will run until latest 14:00. Please bring scissors, glue, site sketches, sketching equipment etc. Also each bring a worked-up copy of today's work. Make sure to show the 4 matrices (diagrams) as well as the main idea. In your site groups (of 3) you will brainstorm the site, its opportunities and challenges.

MIP - let's get started!

Please let us know by noon on Thursday what your MIP site choice is. Go to the facebook group, Principles of Architecutural Design 3. Do a fiend request if you not yet have access to the group. Then post your name under the project of your choice. Use the "discussions" tab at the top of the wall posts.

See you at 10h00 on Monday for the first MIP workshop. Bring photos, sketches, ideas... and have good breakfast for loads of energy!!!

Next week's programme:

Tuesday, 10 August 10h00 - 11h45: Portfolio Feedback in the studio. Selected students will be reminded to bring work as discussed at the portfolio exam - please check the blog and facebook for details.

Wednesday: MIP site visit 3 (Hout Bay, Kirstenbosch, Durbanville - including MIP sites). Bus departs at 9h00 and back at TP at 17h00. Please bring lunch box and wear easy shoes.

Bring R25 entry fee for Kirstenbosch plus student card. There will be coffee for sale at Durbanville - bring extra money if you wish.
